KATRIN is running and scanning again since 18:30 UT.
To prevent further HD damage I changed the scanning a little. The movements between the scans are much slower now. To save time I clipped away 5° of the scanning sector on each side. Let’s see if that runs stable.

It seems that the sea spay is getting calmer today…

Marvin solved a lot of problems, but unfortunately there are still systems down. Due to the internet break yesterday at exact the time Marvin was at site we had to leave the institute and get access from home…
Marvin told me that it was extremely windy there and a lot of sea spray caused the MRR to close the hatch from the lidars. We will ask for a new Software to exclude the lower range bins. The cameras were cleaned yesterday but are again salty….
