Marvin called Lime and they identified the network problem: The router was damaged. After replacement the network came up again. The guy from Lime said that there were some heavy lightnings around the island that damaged a lot of power supplies. After the network was up again, we also identified several problems: The computer that controls the MRR and the Ceilometer and the rain signal for the lidars has stopped. The cloudcam is not responding. Another linux machine stopped. We tried some repairs together with Marvin but we did not had enough time because CIMH has to prepare everything for the severe storm (Ernesto, have a look at the NOAA page) approaching Barbados. But: the radar is up and running…..
